“Sterisure Gamma”

“Sterisure Gamma” is a small self adhesive label, 12mm diameter, which changes from yellow to red after exposure to gamma radiation. This colour change is more marked and more homogeneous than many other products on the market. The colour change offers a reliable indication that gamma sterilisation has taken place.

The indicators are offered in rolls of 5000 packed in a dispenser box. The label is also offered in other formats, e.g. machine dispensed rectangles, or strips, or as a bespoke design.

“Sterisure Steam”

Steam, a widely used method of sterilisation, is efficacious only if the temperature and/or duration of treatment are above a threshold level. Our “Sterisure Steam” indicator label is designed to change colour only after a threshold amount of heat has been received in the presence of steam. Accordingly, the user will have an indication of which goods have been through the sterilisation cycle. The steam indicators are offered on rolls of 5000 12mm diameter labels in a dispenser box.

“Sterisure EtO”

Ethylene Oxide, EtO, is also widely used as a means of sterilisation. Our “Sterisure EtO” indicators are designed to change colour from a distinct purple to a distinct green as the treatment progresses. The indicator labels are 12mm circular “dots” offered on rolls of 5000 held in a dispenser box.

Sterilisation Indicator Inks

Inks are offered to indicate, by the colour change given above, that the Gamma or the Steam or the EtO treatment has taken place.

“Silprocheck” Retorting Indicators/Tags

The vigorous wet-steam cooking/sterilising process (retorting) can be monitored using these robust tags that change from purple to green.
